Anna Chiara Leotta

My name is Chiara Leotta, I was born in Catania on 2 September 1995 and graduated from the Liceo Scientifico Archimede in Acireale. Since I was a child I have nurtured a passion for sport that led me to compete at a competitive level first in Karate (I obtained the 1 kyu brown belt) and then in swimming (after obtaining patents in all styles, I obtained the patent rescue in the pool and in the sea).
My passion for sport was accompanied by a passion for exploration and discovery. So, after obtaining a bachelor's degree and English courses at The English Language Center, in Eastbourne (a town in the English county of East Sussex), I decided to leave Italy and move to Ireland, a country that I had visited long before. "Feel at home in the word" is my philosophy of life, since I have tried this feeling several times, driven by the desire for discovery, for novelty. In Ireland I found accommodation as an au pair with an Irish-Russian family. This wonderful experience has definitely shaped my person, making me discover a new world and love for children. Today I am a student enrolled in the 3rd year of the degree course in primary education sciences at the University of Enna "Kore" - degree course also enabling the teaching of English in kindergarten and primary school - .
I join Betzy's School in June 2021 as an Italian and English teacher.
I am a sunny and positive person, I tend to stand out for my motto: "Good vibes only".
