Alice Ferrara

Teacher in English & Italian

Hello, I am Alice Ferrera, born on July 7, 1997, in Catania, Italy. I am a passionate educator currently teaching at Betzy’s School, where I apply my extensive knowledge and skills in primary education to foster a supportive and engaging learning environment for children.

I pursued my higher education at the University of Enna “Kore,” where I specialized in Primary Education Sciences. This program equipped me with a deep understanding of psycho-pedagogical theories, teaching methodologies, and strategies for addressing the needs of students with learning differences, including those with Dyslexia and other specific learning disabilities (BES).

My practical teaching experience began with a four-year curricular internship at the “Giovanni Verga” Comprehensive Institute in Catania, where I worked closely with children aged 3 to 10. During this time, I supported classroom teachers, designed and delivered educational units, and gained substantial experience in both kindergarten and primary educational settings. This role honed my skills in creating adaptive learning strategies tailored to the diverse needs of young learners.

I am also a linguist, having achieved a linguistic maturity diploma from the “Savoia” institute in Catania, where I studied Italian, Mathematics, Sciences, English, French, and Spanish. My multilingual capabilities, assessed at intermediate levels for English, French, and Spanish, enhance my ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural educational environment. At Betzy’s School, my aim is to inspire and educate students through innovative and inclusive teaching practices that encourage curiosity and a love for learning. I am committed to nurturing each student’s potential, preparing them for academic success and lifelong learning.
